국문논문집 작성 및 투고지침

제1조(목적)

이 지침은 한국교량및구조공학회(이하 우리 학회라 함)에서 발행하는 논문집에 게재하고자 하는 논문의 투고에 관하여 규정함을 목적으로 한다.

제2조(논문내용)

논문집에는 구조공학과 이의 실무적용에 대한 연구결과를 발표할 수 있으며, 원고의 내용은 다른 학술지에 게재되었거나 게재할 예정이 아닌 것이어야 한다.

제3조(형식, 양식, 용어, 단위, 분량)

1. 원고는 한글 워드프로세서 또는 MS Word를 사용하여 작성한다.

2. 사용언어는 한글 또는 영어를 원칙으로 한다.

3. 논문의 순서는 제목, 저자명, 소속기관 및 주소, 영문요약, 본문, 감사의 글, 참고문헌, 한글요약 등으로 한다. 여기서 제목, 저자명, 소속기관 및 주소는 영어를 병기하여야 하고, 본문을 영어로 작성할 경우 한글요약은 생략할 수 있다. (논문집 포맷에 따라 변경될 수 있음.)

4. 영문 및 한글 핵심용어는 5개까지 지정할 수 있다.

5. 한글로 작성한 논문에서도 그림과 표를 Fig. 1, Table 2.과 같이 표기하고 제목과 내용은 반드시 영문으로 작성하여야 한다.

6. 용어 및 기호는 설계기준(KDS) 또는 표준시방서(KCS)에 따르는 것을 원칙으로 한다. 설계기준 또는 표준시방서에 있지 않을 경우에는 가능한 한 전문 분야에서 널리 통용되는 용어 및 기호를 사용하도록 한다. 기호는 그 기호가 처음 사용된 곳에서 문장으로 정의를 내리도록 한다.

7. 단위는 SI 단위계를 따름을 원칙으로 하며 한국표준과학연구원의 표기법을 준용한다. 예를 들어 mm, ℃, % 등의 단위 기호는 수치와 한 칸 띄어야 한다. 다만 평면각의 도(°), 분(′), 초(″)의 기호와 수치 사이는 띄지 않는다.

8. 논문의 분량은 인쇄된 지면으로 도표 및 사진을 포함하여 8쪽 이내를 원칙으로 한다. 그 이상의 분량에 대하여는 논문집 편집위원회의 동의를 얻어 게재할 수 있으나, 이 때 추가되는 쪽의 조판료는 투고자가 부담하며, 이 경우에도 12쪽을 넘을 수는 없다.

제4조(저자의 표기)

1. 논문을 공동으로 투고할 경우, 주저자(제1저자)의 성명을 맨 앞쪽에 표기한다. 논문의 저자(들) 중 1인 이상은 우리 학회 회원이어야 하며, 최대 5인을 원칙으로 한다. 5인을 초과하는 경우에는 논문집 편집위원회의 동의를 얻어야 한다.

2. 교신저자는 성명 오른쪽 각주 옆에 * 표시를 하며, 첫 쪽 좌측하단에 선을 긋고 E-mail주소를 표기한다. (논문집 포맷에 따라 변경될 수 있음.)

3. 주저자(제1저자)는 교신저자를 겸할 수 있다.

4. 심사 완료된 논문의 경우에는 저자를 변경하지 않는 것을 원칙으로 한다.

5. 논문저자는 소속과 직위 등 저자정보를 반드시 기입해야 한다.

제5조(참고문헌의 표기)

1. 참고문헌은 저자의 성을 기준으로 알파벳 순서(A-Z)로 배열하며 반드시 본문 중에 인용되어야 한다.

2. 본문 내에 인용한 참고문헌을 나타낼 때는 저자의 성과 발행 연도를 소괄호 안에 표기한다. 예를 들어 (Wang and Roush 2000) 또는 Jones et al.(2007)과 같은 형식으로 쓴다.

3. 참고문헌 표기방법은 아래의 예에 따르며 학술지명, 도서명, 보고서명, 논문집명 등은 이탤릭체로 표기한다. 사용 언어에 상관없이 모든 참고문헌은 반드시 영문으로 작성하며 한국어로 작성된 참고문헌을 인용할 경우엔 마침표 뒤에 (In Korean)을 붙인다.

제6조(그림과 표의 표기)

1. 그림과 표는 본문의 알맞은 위치에 배치하여야 한다.

2. 그림은 논문 작성요령에 따라야 하며, 이 보다 큰 그림은 이 크기로 축소되므로 글자와 기호의 크기에 주의하여야 한다.

3. 그림의 해상도는 300dpi 이상으로 한다. 그림 안의 글자의 크기는 8pt-10.5pt 사이로 한다. 표 안의 글자의 폰트와 크기는 신명조 8pt로 한다.

제7조(투고 방법)

1. 논문 투고시에는 우리 학회 홈페이지에 접속하여 논문투고 절차에 따라 전자파일을 학회에 제출한다.

2. 심사를 통과한 논문은 전자파일 형태의 최종수정본을 정해진 기한 내에 학회에 제출하여야 한다.

제8조(교정)

1. 초교는 저자가 보는 것을 원칙으로 한다.

2. 교정 단계에서는 저자 임의로 본문의 내용을 변경할 수 없으며, 내용을 변경하고자 할 경우에는 편집위원회의 허가를 얻어야 한다.

제9조(게재료)

저자는 게재 확정된 논문에 대하여 학회가 정한 게재료를 지불하여야 한다.

제10조(판권)

저자는 소정 양식(논문게재신청서)에 의거하여 판권을 우리 학회에 양도하여야 한다.

제11조(이해 충돌)

논문에 영향을 미쳤을 수 있는 경제적, 개인적, 또는 전문적 이해의 충돌(conflict of interest)이 있을 때에는 그 내용을 논문의 감사의 글에서 밝혀야 한다. 편집위원회는 이해의 충돌에 대해 검토 후 논문의 게재 여부를 결정한다.

제12조(게재논문의 연구부정행위)

게재된 논문이 표절, 중복게재 등과 같이 연구부정행위로 판정될 경우에는 한국연구재단 “학술지 등재제도 관리지침” 중 게재논문의 연구부정행위 조항에 준하여 조치한다.

제13조(연구윤리 재검토 기한)

논문저자 정보기입 등의 저자윤리규정이 타당성을 가질 수 있도록 매3년이 되는 시점마다 검토하고 개선 등의 조치를 취한다.

제14조(개정)

이 지침은 우리 위원회의 결의로 개정하여 이사회에 보고한다.

부 칙 (시행일)

이 지침은 우리 학회 이사회에 보고된 날부터 시행한다.

Author Guidelines and Submission Procedure for Journal of Structure Research and Practice

Enacted in June 2022

1. Purpose

This author guidelines are intended to set forth the instruction for submission of manuscripts to the Journal of Structure Research and Practice issued by Korean Institute of Bridge and Structural Engineers (Hereinafter, KIBSE).

2. Basis of Acceptability

The manuscripts shall be within the area of structural engineering and its application; and be original in authorship and publication.

3. Format Requirements

1) A manuscript shall be submitted in HWP or MS word format.

2) The language of publication is Korean or English.

3) The order of the sections in a manuscript shall be Title, Author(s), Affiliation, Address, Abstract in English, Body of Main Text, Acknowledgements, References, and Abstract in Korean. In case of Korean article, Title, Author(s), Affiliation and Address must be written both in Korean and English. In case of English article, Abstract in Korean can be omitted. (It maybe changed depending on the format of the Journal of Structure Research and Practice)

4) Keywords shall be provided after Abstract. Maximum 5 Keywords can be provided; and they must be written in the same language as Abstract.

5) Figure(s), Table(s) shall be constructed in English, not Korean; and they are labeled by Fig. 5 and Table 3 for examples.

6) Terminologies and symbols shall follow those defined in Korean Design Specifications (KDS) or Korean Construction Specifications (KCS); and terminologies and symbols, widely accepted in the other professional field, can be used if they are not defined in the aforementioned documents. The symbols must be defined at their first use.

7) All units shall comply with International System of Units (SI), which is regulated by Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS). For example, a unit of mm, ℃, or % need a single space after each value. The minute (′), second (″), and the degree of angle (°) do not have a single space between its value and unit.

8) Figure(s) and Table (s), References shall be written in English.

9) The length of a manuscript is generally within 8 pages including graphs and pictures. The manuscript may exceed 8 pages under agreement of the editorial committee, but the maximum is limited to 12 pages. Additional cost may be charged to the author(s) in the case.

4. Author

1) The author with the highest contribution on the manuscript shall be listed first when there are multiple authors. At least one author shall be the member of KIBSE. The number of authors is limited to 5 people. More than 5 authors can be allowed under agreement of the editorial committee.

2) An asterisk (*) shall be placed on the right side of the corresponding author, and her/his E-mail address must be provided on the left bottom with underline. (It maybe changed depending on the format of the Journal of Structure Research and Practice)

3) The first author may be the corresponding author as well.

4) The author(s) can not be changed after the review process of the manuscript is finished.

5) The author shall include information on his or her own position and affiliation.

5. References

1) References shall be arranged by the authors’ family name in alphabetical order and be cited in the body of main text.

2) A reference shall be cited in the main text by its first authors’ family name and publication year in a parenthesis: (Wang and Roush 2000) or Jones et al.(2007) for example.

3) All references shall be in English; and a Korean reference is marked with ‘(In Korean)’ after the period. The name of conference proceedings, book, report and journal must be in italic, and the details are as follows:

6. Figure and Table

1) The figure(s) and table(s) shall be appropriately placed in the body of main text.

2) The figure(s) and picture(s) can be reduced if it is larger than the manuscript standard; and so the size of letter and symbol in the figure(s) and picture(s) requires special care in handling.

3) The resolution of picture(s) shall be higher than 300 dpi, and the font size in the figure(s) shall be between 8 and 10.5 pt in a printed manuscript. The font size in table(s) shall be 8 pt.

4) The author(s) shall get a written approval and mark it in an appropriate way if she/he needs to reprint figures or pictures of which copyright is owned by the third party.

7. Submission

1) The author(s) shall submit one original file of the manuscript through the submission system of KIBSE.

2) The final manuscript which passed the review shall be submitted within the period specified by the editorial committee.

8. Proofreading

1) The author(s) shall proofread the first edited manuscript.

2) During the proofreading process, the author(s) can not change the contents of the manuscript, and she/he must get an approval of the editorial committee if any change is needed.

9. Fee

The author(s) shall pay fee for the publication. Additional cost for offprint, if needed, may be charged to the authors.

10. Copyright

The corresponding author shall transfer the copyright of the manuscript to KIBSE.

11. Conflict of Interest

A possible conflict on economical, personal, or professional details related to the manuscript shall be stated in the Acknowledgements section. The editorial committee makes a final decision for publication considering the Conflict of Interest.

12. Ethics

The manuscript questioned on an ethical problem such as plagiarism and multiple publication is handled following the related guidelines of National Research Foundation of Korea.

13. Revision

This guideline is confirmed by the editorial committee, and reported to KIBSEboard of directors.
